Greetings from Tamilnadu ISA!
We are happy to announce and invite applications from various ISA branches for the prestigious Dr Subramoniam memorial Award.
Dr Subrmoniam Memorial award for “Anaesthesiologist of the year -2019”
1.This award will be presented every year to the Anaesthesiolosist who has done outstanding work in the field of Anaesthesiology, peri-operative medicine, critical care & pain management.
2. Application to be submitted to the secretary ISA ,TAMIL NADU by July 10th ,2019. All the eligible applications received by the Secretary will be forwarded to a panel of judges for evaluation.
3.Individuals can not apply directly for the award. The application should come only through respective city branch secretary only. Kindly note that only active ISA members are eligible to apply for this award
4. Professional achievements in the last 10 years in the following decreasing order of importance will be considered for evaluation.
a. Qualifications and year of passing
b. Contributions to promotion of Anaesthesia
c. Invention / development of any equipment, instrument, device, procedure, drug development & development of any special teaching aids or methodology etc.
d. Authorship/editorship/reviewer ship of any textbook, chapter and journal
e. Publication of original research articles, reviews, editorials in indexed medical journals
f. Presentation of original research work, orations, guest lectures in medical conferences
g. Fellowship/ degree/ DM or Phd Examiner to any university/Society /college
h. Holding any important position in Professional bodies & Organizational
responsibilities in the form of conferences, workshops, CME etc.
i. Detail of other Social activities
j. Contribution to teaching in Anaesthesia
5. Only life members of ISA are eligible for the award. If once applied but not awarded, the person can apply again. The award will be given only once in a life time
6. The award will be presented during annual ISA Tamilnadu state conference in the inaugural function and carries an shield and citation.
